A film montage

So what happens when you forget to load your camera with film and spend the entire day shooting air? Well, the next roll of film turns out to be your best montage of photos so far - like, ever. I’m not saying I’ll forget to load the camera again (I will probably literally keel over from frustration), but I definitely think my approach to my photography has changed. It’s not about capturing every moment - that’s what my phone is for - but telling a story.

These were all shot on my Pentax SP500 & Kodak ColorPlus 200.

My saving grace

This right here is what stopped me from bawling my eyes out at my newbie mistake - courtesy of my friend at Glass Onion. This plus a fabulous plate of shrimp gambas, fresh ciabatta and that magnificent croiffle above (which can cure even the bluest of days!).
